ABOUT
JONNY RANSOM
A blistering Blues Rock guitarist with a modern Pop-sensibility, Jonny Ransom cut his musical teeth as a Southern California boy – although you might assume he rose from the depths of the Mississippi Delta. Ransom grew up with an unusual love of the Blues and its shining stars such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, and Jimi Hendrix. He picked up the guitar at a young age and never looked back. Ransom’s appreciation for the Blues is vast and his influence extends from cross-genre superstars such as Elvis Presley, to modern Country powerhouses like Chris Stapleton. Ransom released his first two singles in early 2023, followed by the anthemic Blues-Pop tune "Leaving Roses" in late 2024. In April of 2025, Ransom released his catchy, hook-driven single "Firefly" followed by his reimagined cover of the Hendrix classic "Purple Haze" – out now on all streaming services! Today, one thing stands true: Ransom eats, sleeps, breathes the Blues – and it shows!
