ABOUT JONNY RANSOM

A blistering Blues Rock guitarist with a modern Pop-sensibility, Jonny Ransom grew up with an unusual love of the Blues and cut his musical teeth in Southern California. Guitarist and singer of the Blues-Rock trio Jonny Ransom Band, Ransom’s Lenny Kravitz-esque swagger and Jimi Hendrix-meets-Black Keys arrangements are sure to solidify him as one of the promising new stars of the Blues. In June 2025, JRB released their reimagined cover of the Jimi Hendrix classic "Purple Haze" followed by Ransom’s 2026 solo single “Mind Games” – out now on all streaming services.
